Kanta Find

Email Finder

Input a name and company domain and get back the most probable email address with a confidence score. Credits only deduct when a verified result is returned — no match, no charge.

How It Works

  • Pattern generation — Kanta builds candidate email formats for the person based on the domain's known conventions.
  • DNS validation — Candidates are checked against live DNS records before any delivery probing begins, eliminating dead domains up front.
  • Delivery confirmation — Each candidate is probed against the receiving mail server. The first confirmed match is returned as the result.
  • Catch-all handling — If the domain accepts all addresses, Kanta returns the most likely format clearly flagged as catch-all rather than claiming a confirmed result.

What You Get Back

Every result includes the confirmed email address, a 0–100 confidence score, the email format pattern matched, the mail server's response, and a timestamp of last verification.

Credits only deduct on a returned result. Catch-all results are returned and billed — the domain is live, the mailbox is unconfirmable.

Single Lookup

One API call per contact. Synchronous response. Ideal for real-time enrichment on inbound leads or CRM record creation triggers.

Bulk Enrichment

Upload a CSV of name and domain pairs. Jobs process asynchronously and results are returned via webhook or available for download on completion.

Confidence Scoring

Every result includes a 0–100 confidence score based on the strength of the pattern match and the domain's response — so you know how much weight to put on each result before using it.

Email Verifier

Run any email through verification and get back a clear deliverability classification — not a score you have to interpret. Every result includes what the mail server returned and when the check was last run.

How Verification Works

  • Format validation — Catches malformed addresses before any network calls are made.
  • DNS lookup — Confirms the domain has mail records configured and is capable of receiving email.
  • Disposable detection — Flags known temporary and throwaway email domains.
  • Delivery probe — A simulated probe to the receiving mail server returns the server's actual response, which determines the deliverability classification.
  • Freshness tracking — Every result carries a timestamp so you always know when the check was last run.

Deliverability Classes

  • Valid — Server accepted the mailbox. Safe to send.
  • Invalid — Hard server rejection. The address does not exist — remove from all lists.
  • Catch-all — Domain accepts any address. Mailbox-level confirmation is not possible. Evaluate contact confidence separately.
  • Risky — Temporary failure or ambiguous response. Apply a conservative send policy or re-verify before use.
  • Policy-limited — Provider restrictions prevent delivery probing. Conservative scoring applied.

Kanta handles rate limits and timing for major email providers automatically — protecting your sender reputation without any configuration on your end.

Role & Disposable Flagging

Results flag role-based addresses and disposable domains separately, giving you additional signal to apply your own filtering decisions downstream.

What's In Each Record

Every contact includes full name, a verified email address with deliverability status, job title and normalized seniority level, department, company name and domain, industry, and a confidence score.

Records also include a last-verified timestamp — so you can filter by freshness and know the signal quality before exporting.
