By creating an account or using any Kanta service — including Kanta Verify, Kanta Find, and Kanta Database (collectively, the "Services") — you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Services on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
Kanta provides three B2B data and email infrastructure tools:
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any Service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.
You must register with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Credits are purchased in advance and consumed as you use the Services. Credits never expire — they remain in your account until used. Credits are non-transferable between accounts. Except as required by applicable law, credits are non-refundable once purchased.
We may offer top-up credit packs at any time. Credit pricing may change; existing purchased credits are not affected by price changes.
You agree not to use the Services to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions without refund of remaining credits.
The Services provide data sourced from publicly available information and third-party sources. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any data returned. Email verification results reflect the state of the target mailbox at the time of verification — they may change. Contact records may be out of date.
You are solely responsible for how you use data obtained through the Services and for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws.
Kanta Database contains business contact information (names, job titles, business email addresses, employer information) sourced from publicly available sources. This data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Individuals whose data appears in the database have the right to request removal — see our Compliance page.
The Services, including software, design, and documentation, are owned by Kanta and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the Services without our express written permission.
Data you upload to the Services (e.g., CSV lists for verification) remains yours. You grant Kanta a limited license to process that data solely to provide the Services.
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KANTA'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO KANTA IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
IN NO EVENT SHALL KANTA BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.
You agree to indemnify and hold Kanta harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
You may close your account at any time by contacting support@kanta.dev. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Unused credits at the time of termination are forfeited except where required otherwise by applicable law.
We may update these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you by email.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
